Yesterday was our final full day in Berlin. Some groups visited the Potsdam Palace, while others went shopping at KaDeWe. Others went to the Berlin Zoo. The zoo was located in the heart of Berlin and was much bigger than either of the zoos in Minnesota. There were two major differences I noticed: the fences were very low and they also had multiple animal species living in the same enclosure. After spending a while at the zoo, several people went to the Ritter Sports chocolate store. There were so many different flavors like chocolate with cornflakes, honey, and lime. Dinner was at the Alte Fritz, where we had schnitzel and potatos, along with a very good pie like dessert. It was a good way to say goodbye to a fun and exciting city.
