This morning we got an early start to the day by checking out of our hotel at 4:15 am. Once we got to the airport we went through security and eventually boarded the plane and we were all ready to be on our way to Ireland! Unfortunately, we experienced a delay due to a couple of people being late so we sat on the plane for about half an hour before we took off. After take off, a majority of people decided to sleep on the 50 minute trip to Dublin where we were met by our guide, Anne. Anne then took the group to a bus where we had a guided tour of the city. One of the first stops we made was to see St. Patrick’s Cathedral followed by a visit to Trinity College to see the Book of Kells. We spent some time here looking around the area and then were given time on 
our own to get lunch and do some shopping in the temple bar area. After our free time we all reconvened and almost every person in our group had a bag from an Irish gift shop called Carroll’s. Once we had all gathered again we headed back to the hotel where we had class and learned about Irish culture and the upcoming Olympic Games. We finished class and then checked into our rooms where a majority of us decided to take a nap. A couple of hours later we walked to dinner as a group where we had onion soup, traditional Irish stew, and apple cake. Once we finished dinner we walked back to the hotel and it was time for bed as we get ready for our last full day on tour tomorrow!
