Hej! My name is Sidney Patnoe-Hagelberger and I’m a junior religion and Scandinavian studies double major. I am from Minneapolis, MN. I choose to study abroad in Sweden because honestly I hate hot weather and lots of sun- so Malaysia was out of the question. Alexa Giebienk is one of my best friends and she suggested going to Sweden. We are now on this trip together having a great time.
For our first five days in Stockholm we were given a Stockholm card that gave us free access to all public transportation and 80 of Stockholm’s museums. We were set loose in the city with the only expectations that we be out of the hostel by 9am and to put the cards to good use!
Blog posting is not my thing so I am going to change up the style and give you a list of words that describe our first few days in Stockholm:
Big
Tired
Overwhelmed
Excited
Awwwed
Walking!
Lost
Museums
Beautiful
New
Water
Sunscreen
Bustling
Public transportation
Fun
Boating
Shopping
Butterflies
History
Crazy
Busy
Animals
Churches
Temperature drop
Sleeping on a boat
Sidney, I like the change-up in style. It made me slow down and think about each of the words. Glad you’re all enjoying the trip.
I love your style, Sid…nice recap!
leave it to my kid to blog but not blog. I am so glad you all had fun!
